 This is the San Ramon Valley Campus, which is an extension of where I go to school nad in inexplicably in the middle of nowhere. We needed some shots for the paper, but when I got there were no students so I may have to go back tommorrow.
For the sky I copied image and set to multiply then masked out the effect on the foreground. For the foreground I Made a curve cutting the lows out and and brgihtening the the highlights, then took that effect out of the building, some dodging of the building and a black and white gradient map, no color adjustments this time. :)

Karen I don't know why I am lettering this way but I can't seem to stop :P

i've got half an hour more on boyfriends computer and making a few hurried comments ...

It would jump off the page if you could clone light blue swimming pool water into the dark areas on the ground!

Ok, the black and white is WOW!

But I'll admit the slant down towards the left of the photo is totally messing with my head - GRIN!

I agree on the sharpening on this one, but I noticed after I had put it up. D'oh! :)
