Day 8 - I've been watching this spider for three days now - waiting for it to get where I could get a good shot. Today it dared to come down from the ceiling

i think i got a bit carried away processing, and it didnt really turn out how i wanted it to ... but i'm quite interested to hear wot other ppl think ... so dont hold back with your criticisms!! ... i'm here to learn after all ...

i'm sorry, but i did more stuff in photoshop instead of commenting on other ppl's work .. i'm putting them in now coz i may not have time on saturday or sunday ...
i had coffee with a girlfriend this morning and got talking about photography and dpc ... she took me to this run down and very photogenic place near where she lives so i could get some shots ... these are the ones i've been working on ..
i will comment on other ppls work in the next couple of days ... and thank you everyone for your comments on my work ...

Day 9. it's bloody freezing out there, and has been for a while. the poor dog is going mad - he wants to go out, but after 5 minutes, his feet are so cold (he's african, and has no fur on his paws really) that he's dsperate to come in. the look on his face every time i open the door is incredulous - why haven't you stopped the cold yet??? |

My house (literally where I live); taken a couple of days back (bad weather for photography again this today, it's starting to really depress me). Can you guess whose window is on the upper right of the shot? ;)
Trip into town over the weekend probably won't happen, either; rain the whole time, they say. Castles and cathedrals are dim enough on their own; in the rain, they're downright depressing. Hopefully next week . . .
Off now to comment! Sorry I've gotten so far behind.

I missed yesterday because I was busy packing, and I'm going to miss today through Tuesday because I'll be away in Las Vegas at a cheerleading competition. Yes, I'm a guy cheerleader - yes, the girls are all good looking - and yes, if you ever come to Vancouver, I might be able to arrange a meeting, just don't expect anything since most of them are married or have boyfriends. ;-)
Maybe I'll be able to take some cool pictures of Las Vegas and post them pretending that I live there... I'll see what I can do. |

Missed a day, so here you go a two-fer:
Back door friends are the best ... And so you get back door entrance to our home.
My "mobile home" away from home. The baby pickup.
Should have some more interesting shots coming your way soon. Weather channel says it should be decent outside. Crossing my fingers.
