Yellowstone was awesome! I had a blast there this past weekend. I took about 200 photo's while I was there. I got soo burned, saw lots of animals and figured out that I really want a new zoom lens that will go farther than 300mm. There was a Grizzly Bear a couple hundred yards away and I wasn't able to get a good enough shot of him. I also saw a brown bear that I couldn't go closer too. He just looked like a lump in my picture. The waterfalls and scenary were spectacular. Anyways, here is the link with my shots this weekend.

Really nice shots there Jeremy. I bet Yellowstone was a blast, hope to go there one day myself.
I must say, though, my favorite shot has to be DSC_2191.
What a riot! |

I really must go out and buy myself a graduated filter ...
Good shooting jeremy - think I'd second John's selection of forced to choose, though 2041 has a breag abstract-ish quality. The wolf's a good capture too - especially with that natural framing.

Great stuff Jeremy! I'm going there with my family next week, so your shots give me some good ideas!
I have too many favorites to list, but I love the macro pine shots and the ground hog and wolf stay on my mind... |

Thanks for the comments about them. I had a blast. The place up there is so beautiful. We drove through Teton NP and Jackson on the way home and Wyoming up there is beautiful. We were following an RV and didn't get to stop in some of the places that I saw, so David, when you go up, there are some areas the are full of pine trees and the have like one or two of the white aspens with light yellow leaves meshed in that look amazing.

Nice job! You have captured the essence of Yellowstone as I remember it from the late '70's.. Thanks for bringing it back to me. I hope to visit it with my children someday. |

Hey! I posted in your other thread (including a link to my Yellowstone pics from last year), but I guess you had already left. You got the pics up really fast!
It looks like you got to see quite a bit for the limited time you were there. Isn't it huge? The wildlife is just great. We had a coyote walk right past us near the lodge at Old Faithful. I didn't get a pic of the bear we saw either though :( |
