Hey...that's fantastic.

I have a question though. I thought you could only enter Kodak images. I am in Australia so I have no idea when it comes to the Kodak POTD. Where do you enter them?

As Teletubbie said, you can enter from wherever you are. I beleive Sherpet's Agave was POTD a while back.

Just so you know, you never know when they will pick your picture. I know some people have their pictures several months after they submit them

Out of curiosity (and because I might want to submit a picture), how big of a picture do you enter? A little one like here (640x480 or so), or more around the 800 px, or big like a printable file?

It wasn't a big one. I think I submitted the 640 size? For sure it wasn't a big, printable file...

And what happens with these POTDs? Is this the thing where they show it somewhere in NYC?

Yup. There is a big jumbo-tron thing right at times square that they show it on... Plus, it's shown on the website

I have always submitted Long side 800kb. THere are no size constraints noted on the site. If your image is selected, you should get an email from KODAK (Usually Marianna O'Brien, unless that has changed) and your image appears on the Kodak site for the Day and on the Jumbo Tron at Times Square (by the Marriott Marquis, I think) and you have your name in lights on Broadway! Cool stuff....especially if you get to go see it. Saw one of mine once....neat! (he said as he reiterates what pidge just said in a his usual verbose manner!LOL)

CONGRATS, PIDGE!!!! Good luck, Ursula. I'm sure you won't have to wait long!
