If you really are after photogs who suck, then my average of 4.8 should make me a good contender.
Clearly at this point I should mention that past performance is no indication of future results, and that averages can go up as well as down. |

You're in! I do believe Team Entropy has its 4 members! :)

Entropy
A function first introduced in classical thermodynamics to provide a quantitative basis for the common observation that naturally occurring processes have a particular direction. Subsequently, in statistical thermodynamics, entropy was shown to be a measure of the number of microstates a system could assume. Finally, in communication theory, entropy is a measure of information. Each of these aspects will be considered in turn. Before the entropy function is introduced, it is necessary to discuss reversible processes.

In voting theory, entropy indicates the inability to get it together for a high score...

The laws of thermodynamics and entropy are often described as follows:
1. You can't win!
2. You can't break even...
3. You can't get out of the game.
In DPC terms:
1. You can't ribbon!
2. You can't place consistently in the top 50%
3. You can't stop visiting DPC and submitting entries.

For the benefit of all (including myself) can someone post a summary of rules for playing on Team Suck? |

RULES FOR PLAYING ON TEAM SUCK:
1. Enter a challenge now and then.
2. Do not pander to the lowest common denominator, at least not with any success.
3. Suck.
4. Do whatever your spiritual leader, posthumous, commands.

The Hoover logo is now ready for profile signatures. Here is the code:
(img]//images.dpchallenge.com/images_portfolio/43565/orig/409369.jpg[/img]
Replace the "(" before the first img with a bracket "["
Edit to try to get the code to show

re: logo
I'm fooling with an idea, but any entropers interested should spew something up here for perusal and then we can pick... yah?

I'll defer to those more skilled in digital works of art.. Unless you really want a logo that sucks ;) |

Gotta say the coolest thing about The Hoovers logo is that not only does it suck, but it's DNMC - it's a picture of a Dirt Devil. Gotta love that!

I think it'd be fun to cross the "hoover" with the starship Enterprise. (They were always dealing with entropy in the shows and novels.) *lol*

Saj, I agree that would be cool - go for it ;-)
Here are some variations on a theme to fall back on. I'm not wed to anything, well, 'cept posthumous ;-)
It's always so tough to keep tiny logos readable... pffft.

I was in Unrelatedness, so if you do a pre-league team result it's OK with me. I am not in any challenge at the moment and I don't have a woody or ducky so Morning will be my next entry. |
Same here...unless I do the same "pull a duck out of my butt" thing :O)

great idea, but not easy to do legibly. tho i guess one could just plop the yellow logo to the right of the sub-suck-team logo...
