That's a great logo, but shouldn't you be using a Hoover vacuum? LOL.

hehe pretty funny. make sure you make it so that it can be read in a forum signature (small, but readable)

also, just wanted to make sure that everyone realizes that the background for the OOFers logo is some out of focus lights :)

How do you make at readable at signature size? The type is already as large as I know how to make it. Anyone want to fix it?

Edit to add: I don't have a hoover, just a central vac system and my little dirt devil...

you can probably google for a picture of a hoover, and what program are you using to create the icon?

I went to the Hoover website and they didn't have anything that would work. Didn't try googling.

I used Photoshop CS.

you can make the size of the text as big as you want in photoshop cs, just go to the toolbar where it says the font size and enter in any number you want.

The largest I saw was 72, but I added it before I resized. I will be gone for awhile, but I will try some things later tonight.

I suggest you make it small in Photoshop. You don't need a big version and Photoshop will do a better job of resizing than DPC's thumbnail function.

maybe even 4, depending...

I'm considering some alternative scoring strategies, like the sum of the top scores plus the number of favorites... or maybe a separate prize for faves...

and maybe the winning team each week(?) gets the privilege of awarding an Oobie to the photo of their choice.

we can also do something like, if you dont enter a challenge its an automatic 4.0 or something.

um... for some of us, that would be an improvement...

speaking of which, my average vote just reached 5! I'm going to party before the next two challenges are over, which might bring it back down again... :O
