Not sure if anyone knows but APA was kind enough to put up a picture and blurb about Steve as well as all the links. Kudos to them! See the right hand side: APA AZ

It's a longshot, but I made a brief post about Steve with a link to the timeline over in the Rocky Mountain Nature Photographers forum:
post here

To my knowledge, Steve isn't a participant over there, but nature photography can be a small world and perhaps someone over there knows him since Arizona is included in that particular regional board.

Here is the school info as much as we could find. Maybe you could get number for pan am academy, premier helicopters and spirit rotorcraft llc. Also I just emailed it to your email address. We have a family member here who owns a trucking company and she is faxing the flier to all trucking companys in the state from her office today. She also has a stack of fliers that they are passing out to all of there truckers from here. I hope this helps. I am feeling like we are working against time and the time is going way to fast. Thank you Amy

Nancy Grace is a CNN news anchor and she sometimes lists missing persons on her show. I sent an email to her today with links to the news articles and to this forum. Its a loooong shot I know but everything is worth trying.

Still praying and hoping.

Post her email here and we can all send her a note or link to where you found it. The more people that say something the better chance it will ge noticed.

Has anyone asked the new 'peas' to post something on their site?

I changed the title as kind of an update/attention getter. If the family/friends have any objections please let me know.

Good idea on the title change.

No new news. Iva and Orion needed to get back home as they needed to get back to their lives. At this point we feel we̢۪ve done pretty much everything we can. All the local authorities have been notified, we̢۪ve been on the major media outlets, we̢۪ve searched all logical places for his car, people at his favorite places are on the lookout for him, flyers are posted, we̢۪ve followed up with friends and we̢۪ve checked everything we could check.

We are by no means giving up, but at this point there is not much we can do other then wait for him to show up or wait for some new information. I still keep flyers in my truck to post when I find a good place, I still keep an eye out for his car and I̢۪ll still go out of my way to drive by places he could be.

The last two weeks have been exhausting, mentally, physically, and emotionally. I had been completely drained and I̢۪m finally getting back to normal after a couple of days of rest. I feel like I have not done enough, but at the same time I don̢۪t know what else we can do.

Thank you everyone for your help, kind words and support, I can̢۪t say that enough. You have been amazing. I̢۪m really looking forward to posting here that we found Steve and changing that title so we can all celebrate together.

Also, to anyone else that may be having problems in life and think getting away from it all might be a good idea, it isn̢۪t! You may not realize it, but there are a lot of people that care about you and a lot of people that are willing to help. You have no idea what you will put those people through by leaving. Rather then leave and abandon everyone, simply ask for help (or at least tell us where you are going and let us know you are okay). Helping a friend or family member through some problems is much easier then what we̢۪ve been though the last 2 weeks. Also keep this in mind when a family member of friend does come to you for help.

This was mentioned earlier, but I never saw if anyone persued it.

Has anyone contacted Civil Air Patrol? My husband used to be VERY involved with them, and this is exactly what they do, and do well. Perhaps they could search the area of the mountains where he was last seen?

Did he take his toothbrush? This has been bugging me all along. I guess people can buy new toothbrushes, but it seems like if I was going to go somewhere, that would be one thing I'd take with me for sure.

Thoughts and prayers to all Steve's friends and families.

I've been checking this thread several times a day and reading every single post incase I can contribute an idea or a different slant on an idea but at this point, clearly, everything that can realistically been done has been done.
I can only imagine how distressing and exhausting this must be for you and the rest of Steve's friends and family.
I will continue to hope for (good) news.
I know one of you will let us know if there is any news at all.
Best wishes to you,
Kavita

I know this is a long shot, but I was just looking at Steve's most recent comments made. I noticed Steve's next-to-last comment was a lengthy and rather knowledeable comment about Mount Rainier. Is it possible he would have gone there?

Good catch Terry. My guess though, is that if he were going all the way up there, he'd be (sort of) close to his family and would stop by for a visit and would probably let them know first.

probably still worth having someone in that area check it out.

have anyone checked with all the airlines to see if he purchased a flight? You probably would need a warrant to get the information but it is accessible.

You have done everything possible to find Steve and at this point it is right for you and Steve's family to return to your own lives. I have been checking this thread daily and have been amazed by the ideas and suggestions offered and the compassion demonstrated by all concerned. Being so far away, all I can offer is good wishes and prayers for a positive outcome.

In the UK all "gas stations" have CTV cameras to avoid people driving off without paying. Is this the case in the US? If so, is it possible to send the details to all the fuel providers through their head offices to look out for his car?

Fingers crossed

Pauline
