I got my prints yesturday and they look great. I really like the way my 16x20inch Prairie Sunset looks. My husband is going to frame it and buy a plaque that has my name and date when I won my first blue ribbon. I also bought 3 8x10s and a postcard. Which turned out perfect. I am going to buy more post cards.
I love this site!! I would love to buy postcards of other peoples photos too. Why can't we do that?

Great, can't wait to receive mine. I would also like to buy postacrds from others picture pool.
Just to let you know, on you marvelous Prairie Sunset you indicate in the comment field "This picture one 1st place.....! instead of "This photo won 1st place...". Just so you can correct it. Congrats agian on this ribbon, well deserved!

I think the post card idea is great. Whenever I get a ribbon I'll be sure to buy a big print of it also. |

Are the post-cards printed both sides ? Do you get to set the text on the non-picture side ? Would be cool if they had a small dpchallenge logo and the Photog's name/ photo title on them. |

NO Gordon. There is just the stamp square and the lines for the address.
I think that would be nice if we could get the dpchallenge logo and title/name on the back, too.
I will have to print it on the back of my post card.
I am very pleased with it though. This is the picture I got got on the postcard Enjoying the Sunset and plan to buy other peoples picture on a postcard if they have been setup when I get back from vacation.

I have to add my laud here. I uploaded and ordered a picture on Sunday. It came in the mail today (just regular shipping, but I am in NC, so I figure the close proximity to GA helps) and the prints are awesome. I used to use Adorama, but I am sold. Great work Drew!!!
Just one note, and this is a shipping thing, not a DPCPrints thing, if you are ordering 8X10 or larger and you have a standard size mailbox, the package will be bent. The pictures were only bent a little, no creases, and once in the frame, you couldn't tell. Adorama, and others, I used did the same thing. Looks like they could put "Pictures, please do not bend" or something on it.

Hey that's not fair Karmat. I ordered a print on last Friday and I'm waiting by the mailbox for it to get here. Mines coming to Utah so I know it will take a little longer so that fine.
Also Karmat, I have a smaller than standard mailbox, and if they try and bend my 20X30 to stick it in there I'm gonna be mad at the mailman ;)Just kidding, she wouldn't do that. They just have taken my prints to the apartment office when I've ordered them before. |

Your order shipped Monday morning at 9:30 AM (first business day after your order), so expect it soon. Anything larger than an 11x14 (I believe that's the cutoff) is shipped in a tube, so you need not worry. I'm currently working on seeing what we can do about getting a 'Photos -- Do Not Bend' disclaimer on smaller envelopes. Thanks for all the positive feedback!

Got my prints in the mail today! I ordered Sunday and got them today and I live in a rural area - very pleased with that. Also, just to let you know the largest size I ordered was 8x10 and the packaging was stamped "PHOTOS! DO NOT BEND OR CRUSH!" very prominently under the address. My mail carrier even made a special trip to deliver them to my door instead of trying to put in the mail box - so I guess it worked! (my house is down a very long driveway from the mailbox on the road) But the most important thing is the quality of the prints - and I am very happy with that. The colors are much, much better than my local photo lab. And my 8x10 looks great - even with the intricate border I chose! Thanks for the good work guys! |

I'm jealous. Mine wasn't marked at all. :-(
Just a side note -- I gave one of the 5X7s framed as a gift tonight. No one even suspected digital!! (I don't know about ya'll, but I am surrounded by digi skeptics!)
