Went form 6.4 to 5.6 over night. Very nice even when there is no description the Lame O's still go a Trollin'.

Well, my wife who is even more of an amateur than me, entered her first challenge last night and is whipping my arse. I gave her and a friend a quick lesson on manual controls and a few basic editing steps before I stepped out for awhile yesterday. To tell you the truth, when I returned and saw what she had to enter, I knew I was beat. I'm extremely proud of her for coming up up with such a fantastic image (one that we'll definitely frame) but she didn't have to outscore me. ;)
Would it be considered vote swaying if I gave her a 1?

| They are out full force.I've gone from 5.5 to 5.0 in an hour. Since the start of the challenge I've hovered around 5.3-5.4 so the sudden down turn seems a bit weird - especially so quickly. |

| Anyone else finding themself voting higher than normal just because a shot is in focus? I keep finding myself saying "Yay! It's in focus! 6." There's a lot of fuzzy photos in this challenge! |

Welcome to my world Phil! :-) My husband also recently just signed up as member and he's beat me in every challenge we've entered together. And to think I've been plugging away at this place for the last three years (well almost 3) and he just plops down with MY camera and beats me and to top it off, he has a higher average then me too!!! Granted he's only entered 3 challenges vs. my 90 challenges, but still. :)
Congratulations to your wife though and I hope her, the baby and yourself are all doing wonderful! :)
And to keep myself from getting off topic, my score. It's okay, but the favorite just makes my day. :-)

AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!! One of my better shots and I don't see how it fits the challenge crap is coming up!!! Dammit, pretty much all the entries are a bit and/or piece of something (minor exceptions). Just because YOU don't recognize what it is. CRAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPP!!!!

and I did notice went from a 6.6 down to a 5.2 last night, are people actually voting on the right challenges? Thinking they are in action and voting bnp? sheesh!
