and I did notice went from a 6.6 down to a 5.2 last night, are people actually voting on the right challenges? Thinking they are in action and voting bnp? sheesh! |
One of my better shots, and people do see how it fits, and I am still getting one of my lowest scores. I had a 6, and now I am at 5.1. I think there is some hanky panky going on. If I didn't know better site registration is up the last 2 days, and 1's are being handed out like candy. ;) |

I'm with Jutilda on this one - haven't voted yet but in running through the thumbs, it does look like this was a bit uninspired. I'm sure there are gems among the bits, though. :-)

Don't do it! Just grin and bear it thats what I am doing! Even if you pull it, it is still a DQ. You don't want that. Plus then the trolls win ...

This isn't the first time I've seen people asking this. Why pull your pictures? Sure, it may not be doing well but is that really a good reason to pull it?
I think that poorly scoring photos should be left in challenges as it helps the "average" photographers like me see that even the great DPCers can have bad days ;) |

I wanted to pull it because in my haste to get it done, I did some cloning to get rid of some shadow. 5 minutes before the deadline, I logged in to unsubmit it so I wouldn't get DQ'd and my laptop crashed.
So, therefore, I want it unsubmitted.
And I'd rather have it listed as DQ for me pulling it than for breaking the rules.

Use the "Help" button to submit a ticket and explain like you did here. |

I sent one last night about 20 minutes after the deadline stating what had happened. I just thought that I would have heard something by now or that it would be gone.
I just thought I did something wrong in submitting.
Also, since it's one of the mediocres, I'm sure that it probably would have made it through the whole thing without anyone noticing anyway, but where's the integrity in that?

Love my image. I haven't seen all of the others yet but of those I have seen mine is by far the most original and creative in the bunch while staying totally in the "box". Unfortunately, I didn't shoot eye candy so there's no big boobs, or rainbows on acid trips, hence the low score. :P |
