Bless those voters from the past hour. The last 6 votes I've received have averaged an 8.333, the last 5, an amazing 8.6! I find that incredible for an image thats scoring in the 5's.
The voting seems to be all over. My score has fluctuated 0.7 today. It will be interesting to see where this challenge ends up.

Back to normal. The last 2 votes have been 2s.
Must remember Murphy's DPC law: If the vote seems too good to be true, it is. Just wait for the next vote to humble you.

I am on for my WORST EVER entry. I'm crying. Not because of the score, but because of the piece of crap I can now see I entered. I am well and truely emmbarrased to call it mine!

I am sorry, but I will be disagree with your thoughts here...
It is "Your" work... it should not embarrass you. Even if you have 3 or less, it is your work. You should be pumped for the next one, put that one on a shelf and look at it from time to time, because this one will teach you more.
I hate to do philosophy here, but when someone talks hursh about their own work publicly, kind of bothers me. You might not like it, and say so... but almost "hating" it too much if you ask me.

K. that was a bit odd.
I saw someone post a message that they liked my photo for whatever reason, and they were giving a 10, next thing I know, the message is deleted.
really odd. don't care one way or the other how they vote, but why would someone mess around like that? seems a bit juvenile. |

as to scores, I can't seem to break the 5.0 barrier.
and have yet to get much constructive criticism from those that do well.
a bit frustrating actually.

MInes 5 flat.
I was hoping it would do a little better, its an outside the box image. So i'm guessing most people think it DNMC - but i thought it is still a well done photo, but i have no comments, blasted people.
I care more about the comments then the score. |

I've officially stopped watching my scores. Two to the last 5 voters gave me a 1 and my image is as technically good as my first two challenges. The funny thing is that I thought I pushed the DNMC envelope a lot harder on the Color on Color challenge than on this challenge. Although my title was more important in this challenge to help interpret my image.
The image will still look pretty good on my profile page but not so the score. Live and learn.
