hello. my name is shane and i posted a flower picture. it had been 20 days since my last flower related challenge entry.

i was wrong to post such an obvious photo. please forgive me. my only other choice was a group of crying children and i have heard that such emotion can be too much for some poor, gentle souls to handle... (even though the burning orphanage behind them did have some wickedly good bokeh.)

i will now take my 5.8852 score and go hang my head in shame...

thank you for your prayers and support.

Out of focus flowers on her grave, that's a cool idea.

		There's two feet of topsoil
A little bit of bedrock, limestone in between
 A fossilized dinosaur
A little patch of crude oil
A thousand feet of granite underneath
 Then there's me

It least you're still in the mantle and not a ball of molten iron ...

I've gone from about 5.6 to 5.2 in the last three hours or so ... but I think there's often a dip on the second day, and a bump later on ... |

I know the feeling... I have 1 comment from a long time DPC member who loved my picture...then...down, down, down, down, down.. I will be lucky to break a 5! I know I have good "Bokeh" in my shot but I have now learned that when 400 people enter a challenge it might be better to drop out and either enter a different one or take a week off!
There at photos with great Bokeh, average Bokeh, a little Bokeh and a bunch with NO BOKEH (and those are probably beating me out!) |

		| My girlfriend really liked one of my shots, so I said why not. Well to keep the story short, I won't be entering anymore flower pics. I'll stick to my regular dark and depressing shots. |

Mine has falled a bit too, I expect it to rise a little as we near the end. A decent number of people put "place markers" and then go back over shots. My experience has seen the score slightly rise as the challenge nears the end. (I predict a 6.7 to 6.9 final score.) |

NO complaining about a 6.6 score will be even remotely tolerated!!

And let the wife borrow the Rebel once in awhile, will you? |

I have never had a score this high before. Just sayin'

She can use the Rebel, she picks it up and snaps a few here and there. We just need to sit down and spend some teaching/learning time. |
