Use this as a reason to harp on you-know-who about increasing the disk space limits and/or allowing photo links from external sources in our portfolio.

Coincidence??

Well, even though it's just a few days late, this is a most welcome change. Things will get quite interesting now with new threads like "How should I organize my two thousand images?" LOL

I have to admit I was in a weird mood when I cleaned out my portfolio (kinda like when I clean my office) and I regretted it shortly afterward (the portfolio, not the office).

If work doesn't send me to the hospital or looney bin, I will begin soon to rebuild my lif--- I mean my portfolio.

Thanks Langdon! I know what a hassle planning for something like that means. We all appreciate it.

Your "workshop" is hidden from portfolio browsers, but you can link to images in it. It's where I keep all the "other peoples' images" that I play around with, for example.

And thanks Langdon. this is very good news. It will be a big help to me. Now make it possible to create SUBfolders, especially in "My Workshop", and I'll be in Hog Heaven. I'd like separate subfolders for the learning thread images so I can be sure not to ever accidentally remove any of them. And it would be great to have like a Generic folder "landscapes" and subfolders for "sunsets", "details", and so forth.

I'm pretty sure that'd come under the 'portfolio/browsing' option on the associated poll, so go vote :o)

You can already do that, you always could... unless I'm not understanding you right? Look at my portfolio... folder for prints, subfolders with categories. Just click "New Collection" at the bottom.
