hello, im kinda new to dpchallenge. i have been looking at the entries for a few months now and i am often very impressed. i figured that this would be a good way to improve my skill and have a little fun at it. i just joined as a member the other day and entered a photo in environmental portriates. are we even allowed to talk about current challenges? what are some things i should know?

I'd start by reading this

And also check out the FAQs and the terms of service which you agreed to when you joined this site.

Welcome to DPC, the addiction, and the maddness!

Welcome Kyle,

As previously mentioned by Pidge check out the FAQs regarding rules and stuff. Everything else you'll pick up as you take part in the challenges, forums and such.

Hi Kyle! Kiyoko's links are great to start at, worth to read. And to shortly answer your first question, we discuss current challenges without mentioning particular photos.

Like Team Pixelstorm or Team Nikon and the like? That's part of a photography league (season 1 just ended) that some folks put together within the DPC site. See this for some more info.

on the main menu at the top go to My Home then click the My Portfolio and set up different galleries (if desired) and upload into them. You can also upload a mass of them if you put them into a zip file and upload it. I'm trying to find a tutorial for it but failing so far.
