You got a haircut? ;-)

No, I did have a haircut recently, but that's not it. For some reason my avatar looks... uhh... much more expensive than it used to. ;)

Tip: A cut-out section of oven mitt inserted between wallet and gluteus maximus will help you to avoid burns.

That's a good tip, but what can I do to protect myself from the ear shattering screams? :)

Actually, that's not a problem. The change resulted from a well planned and perfectly executed operation. The target never knew what hit her. ;)

My preferred flavour for apple crisp is apple, but for hamburgers I prefer a more hamburgery flavor.

Yes--I actually noticed that this morning! (wow, I feel so smart and observant!)

I know I'm going to drool over it on Saturday, so...you might want to be prepared. :)

That's uber rad, Mick. I'm JEALOUS.

Drool all ya want, just don't get any on my new toy. It's not waterproof. I think Canon charges an extra $5K for that. :)

BTW, will Wendelika and Ronce be coming on Saturday? I'm trying to determine how big our gang will be.

I will be there, but mi madre will not.

Well, it's great that you can make it Rianna. Tell Wendelika that we'll miss her and we hope she can make the next one.

BTW, you might want to consider bringing a charged battery (or two) for your camera this time. I noticed a huge improvement in my own photos when I started using batteries in my camera. :)

I brought a battery last time! And it was even charged...I think. :)

Mmkay folks, so we've got:

-briquettes
-chips
-pop
-buns
-dessert
-mustard

Those are covered.

So we still need:
-hamburgers (although Brian has 10 or 12 already--I'm thinking we'll need a few more?)
-ketchup
-lettuce and 'maters
-mayo

Anyone?

Looking forward to Saturday, everyone. : )

Hey girl. Glad you can make it! I'll bring mayo / ketchup. Got to have apple pie. See Ya there....Joe

How many burgers do you think we'll need? I need to stop and get a bag of briquettes, so I could pick up another bag of patties.

Well, a big :(. My little man Caden had to go to the doc today. He's fairly sick with croup and I wouldn't feel right leaving Jenn to take care of him and look after Laine as well. Look's like we'll just have to have Oregon GTG #4 sooner than later so I can meet y'all...
05/11/2006 04:33:56 PM · #115
Oh, that's too bad! :( Hope he gets better soon!

Well Brian, last I counted, there was going to be 11 people coming...and at first I think Cristin was planning on somehow showing up with 15 or 20 buns, but now she says she has no idea. So she reccomends using your logical thinking and deciding how many you think we'll need.

Dude, Rianna makes me sound like a b!tch poo-poo head.

Really, I don't eat like a normal person, and so even though we've got 11 people coming, I have no clue how many hamburgers 11 people are going to eat...one? Two? Ten?

And plus we've got a horse (my loving sister :) and at least one teenage boy to feed, so we've gotta figure that into the mix...

So whaddya think?

Becky picked up some mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickles, and paper plates yesterday. We will bring that stuff, and the lettuce and tomato, and some kind of salad (potato, three bean, whatever), and probably some soft drinks.

Does anybody have any plastic forks, knives, or spoons? If not, then I'll pick some up.

For all you that are getting there in the morning, I'll be bringing some muffins and pastries. Bring your own coffee. My thermos is kinda small.
Though, if someone has a camp coffee pot, I'll be glad to bring grounds.
Looking forward to meeting you all.

We'll see you all there! Have fun, be safe, and remember...

Stay off the logs!

Don't turn your back on the ocean!

Don't fall off a cliff!
