I got 16 of my "Oregon GTG #3" images from Road's End beach up. ;)
You Oregonians ever gonna actually let me on the same beach with you some day or will I always be required to be on a beach 100 miles away? LOL!!!
Just kidding... I really do wish I could have met up with you during my Oregon visit.

Yeah, check out those good-looking photographers there on Monday, doesn't it make you wish you all could've been there? haha, kidding...
That'd be our impromptu group shot. Chimping, as usual.

If it's any consolation, I kept asking myself, "How would Steve shoot this?" The problem was that I never knew the answer. :)

I'm glad that you were able to get away for a while. It looks like your time was well spent too. Nice work!

Steve...WOW is all I have to say!
That last shot in your gallery, with the water drop--stunning!
It's too bad you couldn't have made it to the GTG, maybe I could've learned a thing or two from you. : ) |

A couple shots up now, still working on most of the landscape-y shots though:

Hi... sorry I missed the Oregon GTG #3! I spent all my Oregon visit with relatives, but did get out to take a few pictures. Here is a composite at Road's End just north of Lincoln City taken the day before your GTG.
... BTW, motley looking GTG#3 group! ===> :)

Absolutely! It will have to be on a weekend, preferrably early on a Saturday. That way I'll have Sunday to patch up the wounds. :)
I don't have your number, so I'll send you mine so we can talk. |
I wanna go, I wanna go! I'm out of school in three days, FREEDOM. And an excuse to shoot is always welcome. :)
Or am I just not kool enough for yall? :) |

One of the shots from our hike...
I wanted to frame this shot with tree branches like Brian did with his, but sometimes you just can't see the forrest for the trees. :) When I took this shot, Zoomdak and I were trying to share a small brush-covered ledge on a steep slope. It was hard to stand up, let alone move around to get a decent view.
I will be going back to shoot this location again. Hopefully it will be sometime soon. Maybe I can do it better next time.

Becky was shooting photos of Rianna, so I poached a shot while she wasn't looking.

(yeah, yeah, yall knew that already...)
So in ALL of my pix from yesterday, I've got this freaky weird curved lighter-bit going thru the shot. Check it out:
Does anyone know what caused this? Should I send my shtupid camera in to Canon and have them look at it?
This happened with every lens I had on, too, so it wasn't just a lens thing...
??? |
Did you get something on your sensor? |
I don't think so...I've looked at it, and it seems to be clean enough...

Ya know, that thing on your photos looks a bit like that fungus with an eyeball that Chuck found. Does the camera ever move by itself?
