I almost bought one of those a few weeks ago.
The keys are all wrong on my keyboard anyway so what's printed on them doesn't much matter to me :) My wife would like it though - but I guess she wouldn't be able to email me to complain.

While I'm not particularly shy about posting, there are lots of times when I type in a detailed, thought-out reply. Then read it carefully, agree with myself, "yup, that's what I want to say" and then delete the whole thing.
It'll be interesting to see which key I hit this time:
The Delete Key
The Post Key

Cool! I switched to the Dvorak layout six years ago, so only the "A" and "M" key symbols on my QWERTY keyboards are of any use. ;-)

I know you guys are watching. I just want to know...are you as understated in real life as you are on this forum? Wish I could do that. I have to hold back, because I want to say something about almost everything I read.
It's time for all of you wallflowers to speak up. Let's hear what you have to say! |
LoL, I thought this thread's pretty funny. I'm probably one of those you mean. Just blame it on my Asian blood - you know, we're conditioned to listen more than speak up ; ) The very rare occasions you see me reply or post is probably the American education I got taking my personality over LoL!!!
On a more serious note, I think forums like this need some thinking in putting down words. (I have the same approach to emails) How often is it that people just get riled up for no reason because of lack of attention to words and responses? And since I don't have much time, I rather place more time on voting and comments. Of course, being relatively new, I don't know many DPCers really well either. But I do enjoy some of the posts and the funny jokes that go on sometimes. Just looking for the right post to jump in... : ) And yes, like some others mentioned, interaction on comments sure would be encouraging for newbies. |

I almost did also (and still might) - simply due to the different pressure of each set of keys. Besides it looks cool :-) I still need to look at the keys but I know where they all are anyway, so might be good to drop that bad habit (never lurned typing). |

I type so much that some of the print on my keyboard is almost gone and some of the keys are dented from my fingernails. LOL
