I commented (and gave lower scores) to a couple of photos which were clearly silhouettes. But before I did so, I downloaded the photos to my computer, fired up Photoshop and made sure it actually was a silhouette before judging it as one. I hope everyone who voted low on silhouettes did the same thing. |

Still dropping steadily on my part...its interesting that the closer to the close of the challenge the lower the votes get...Don't know if its just a coincidence or not, but its something Iv'e noticed in all three of the challenges I've participated in. :o)

Well, I haven't entered this challenge (not unusual for me) and I'm just going through the voting (a little unusual for me) and so far it looks like this:
You have rated 70 of 324 images (22%) in this challenge.
You have commented on 35 images (11%) in this challenge.
I'm trying to get to commenting on most of the photos but I will vote first and so far have only commented on the photos that have jolted me, in a good way, bad way or otherwise.
I must say though that when I first looked at the thumbnails before I voted I was really considering just leaving it! But now I am 22% of the way in I really am seeing better and better photos.
I have so far voted:
1's : 0
2's : 0
3's : 0
4's : 9
5's : 18
6's : 18
7's : 11
8's : 8
9's : 6
10's: 0
I don't know if I'm just being more lenient than the other voters or what but I am just trying to vote all the photos in the same way so that it is fair . . .

| it seems you really have to hand feed the voters around here. what does it take? my shot is backlit, but many voters didn't think so. i had others to choose from that were more backlit, but i liked this one the best. i've scored around a '5' so far. seems i'm being punished with low votes because my shot doesn't scream with a megaphone "BACKLIGHTING!!" i guess it's one spoonful at a time. get ready to be blown away by my 'road' shot. |
