Put an old sock over her face. That one always works. I used to do it to my brothers all the time when we were kids.

Bent by Matchbox Twenty; my cat talking up a storm to me in her special way, my little dog snoring lightly in her bed at my feet. Big dog is all quiet finally, was dreaming earlier. :)

Dead Can Dance

One of my favorite bands. I saw them live in Boston years ago - the show blew me away (as well as the rest of the audience based on reaction). My brother works in the music business as a promoter and he put on the show so afterwards I got to go backstage and meet them. Truly a hughlight for me.

The same weekend I also saw Cocteau Twins. I went out to see them originally and was totally disappointed. DCD made up for it in spades.

I do love Dead Can Dance, too. Glad to see a few Gerrard/Perry folks out there.

Having said that, however, I must admit that "Mr. Roboto (1983, Styx) is currently playing. About as far away from DCDance as one can get.

I've got a 1980-1983 playlist on my iTunes going at random.

The last five songs:

"Rapture" Blondie.
"Burning Down the House" Talking Heads.
"Beautiful World" Devo.
"Suburbran Home" Descendents.
"Christine" Siouxsie and the Banshees.

And then . . . "Mr. Roboto" . . . it's like losing one's mind.

Skipping forward, the next five songs:

"The Metro" Berlin.
"Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" Police.
"Seven Bridges Road" Eagles.
"Pride and Joy" Stevie Ray Vaughn
"Eaten by the Monster of Love" Sparks.

I love random on the iPod. Hours of manic mayhem and chaos.

I saw Tab at the Kalamazoo Blues Festival a couple of years ago. He's awesome live and pretty damn good on CD too.
