Me either... I tend to look at the slightly blown highlights toward the center of the photo.

OK OK - I am definately starting to worry - most of this sounds like me - except the dreams and in South Africa we don't have hurricanes.

(OMG, our house blew up in a gas explosion with us inside...had time to wake the kids and start TOWARDS the door and we did even get out alive...but I really considered going back into the flames for the photos, etc.!) ;)

While your watching TV, you are taking hundreds of images of your wife and pets while experimenting with a multitude of adjustments. She then yells at you and you just keep on taking pictures.
