...When you are talking to someone and find out you are paying more attention to their facial structure, trying to work out which is their smaller eye, which side is more rounded than the other and what they best angle to photograph them from would be...

... when you walk around and keep noticing things that would make a great background if someone were in front of it...

LOL - Like that HP (not sure) ad with the freeze frames/prints thing and you think that is normal because it's how you visualise the world.

When the hubby is trying to take a photo of you at a social gathering and you say 'Make sure the light is not reflecting off the glasses, or make sure you aren't taking it at an unflattering angle etc..' :-)

Now my problem is I refuse to be in a picture unless I'm the one taking the picture, viewing the pictures first, editing the pictures, yadayada. It's a photog control freak thing.

... Find yourself standing in -40 weather because the owl's breath has caused frost to form around it's beak. (true story)
... wonder why your batteries just don't last because it is -40C
... put cold bateres inside your gloves to warm the batteries up so you can continue taking pictures at -40C

When its 1 degree outside and with the wind it feels like -15 ++++ and you are standing on a pier taking a picture of the ice in the river. (true story.. did it a couple of years ago by the Brooklyn Bridge)

you fall downstairs and you protect your camera and not yourself, than lay there and check the camera

You try to talk your wife into letting you post those 'special' studio photos you took of her by saying ... "It's art, baby!"

...You spend an hour on "hotornot" voting on pics and realize you've voted people down for- 'blown out highlights' 'not original' 'poorly executed- try B&W next time' 'A border would help'.

yep. I am guilty of so many of these obsession traits!

..when you catch yourself focusing and unfocusing your eyes on objects at different distances and then sit in awe at how incredible your eyes and camera lenses are and how they work so similarly..and then you try to share your thoughts about it with someone and they look at you like youre completely nuts.
