So when is the next DPC photographer interview? I think they are a great addition to the site and wish they were moving along faster than they currently are. I like the chance to get more inside the heads and behind the eyes of photographers who inspire me. It would be great to see a new interview up at least every week or two. I know there's a long list of people to interview somewhere around but I can't find it...

here is the list. i wish we could seee more of them, too. the interview process takes a while, though, and i know that coding it can't be fun for Dan.

Interview List

wow, that list was made a while ago. Interesting to see how things have changed. There are so many people I would love to see interviews from that aren't on that list and there are quite a few people in that list that hardly participate anymore.

I'm interested too. I thought Dan had passed the job on to someone else? My poor memory won't allow me to remember who that person was. Maybe we could make it easier for interviews to be created (aka, no coding, just data entry).

i can't remember if he passed the job to a specific person or just assigned the interviews to different interviewers for each one. i think the list should be reworked to make it current, though.

I'd be willing to do an interview and write it up. Who do I talk to to volunteer?

If you'd like to do an interview, I'd suggest PM'ing the photographer that you'd like to interview to discuss the idea.

Once they've agreed to it, contact Site Council (select DPChallenge - General Inquiry) to let us know who you would like to interview.

Any of us can edit posts, so we can keep the list updated.

Thanks,
~Terry

Maybe someone should interview those who don't participate so much any more and find out why ? After all, these were some of the more successful and popular photographers on the site at the time. Might provide something useful about the long term growth of the site.

Some of them are still lurking. I got a PM this week from someone who hasn't been around here for a few years asking how I was doing. He had been watching and just wanted to comment. I sent him a reply and haven't heard back from him.
