i for one really dont give a rats backside if the person wants to remain anon or not. I, like many here, enjoy getting comments. The whole reason i joined this site was to get feedback and to meet new likeminded people.
If there were no forums and no comments, why bother coming here at all. It seems to me Rose, that you joined for the wrong reasons.
I hope you take a step back and realise the purpose of this site and what it stands for.
(I havent had much to do with it in recent times, due to people like you.)

not to my satisfaction, you did a great job of cutting this wonderful site down, yet you refuse to explain why ur still here with any iota of reasoning. Its my opinion that you are here only to rabelrouse in the forums (a place you avhe highly criticized), and criticize when your photographs are not voted as high as you wish they were. Maybe you're right.. that this place isnt for you. Good luck finding a place that is more up to what you want

I'm not going to play this game again tonight, not with you, not with Kadi, not with anyone. AND I already answered that question.

I understand your point. It has also been driven home to me on many an occasion here that I am a "newbie" and need to learn how to climb some kind of rope before I can reach any kind of agreeable destination. I don't believe those that have given that type of hoopla have any kind of expertise either. So I guess we both have reason for being offended.

The only thing that's been asked of you is to not be quite so rude. We ask that of all the members, new and old. |

Until now, that is. I think from now on I'll worry myself silly which one might be Rose's photo, and into how much trouble it will get me if I should happen to (unknowingly, of course)leave a comment on it.
Thanks a lot, Rose. |
Beetle, you go right ahead and make all the comments you want. I rarely pay any attention, and only once did I PM someone, and ONLY then because I read her profile first and found she was willing to receive it. I am not all that stupid as to PM others with nasties. So don't fret over it. I don't want you or anyone else to change your view, nor do I expect anyone to change mine. We all have them, just like....well, ya know.

Wow... you really dont "get it" do you.. There is no rope climbing. We are ALL here to learn. Whether you are a newbie or not, calling a well valued site "jello" is plain rude and disrespectful. I am sure you would not like it if people came and degraded your site. The people you say that have all the "hoopla", are extremely talented, helpful and kind people. I just wont sit here and let you put them down.

I have no problems being nice, and uplifting and full or roses and sunshine. In some posts you will see just that. Rudeness begats rudeness though. So I respond in kind when I feel I have been offended. If I respond rudely and you think I just misread it as rude, then just explain and I will understand or ask a question or two to find out where I may have read it incorrectly.

You appear quite capable of being polite and civil with the members on your //sspp.conforums.com/ forum.
How would you react if I was rude towards the regulars on your forum, having only joined today? - If I made a few posts criticising the competitions and the members in an arrogant and offensive manner? |

Ok mk. Now THIS was rude. So therefore, watch my response:
YOU DON'T GET IT! I have been told on several occasions that "I will learn", "you will eventually know", "here at DPC "WE" do it this or that way", "newbies should relax and research before asking a question", and THAT, MY DEAR, is a ROPE I am being told to climb. AND I NEVER meant to say this SITE was jello. You must have either misread it and not asked me before making rude comments of your own, or you just decided to read it that way. I refer to several of the posts in forums as JELLO. And many people have come to my sites to disrupt and mame, and they are in EVERY forum out there (hence where I learned to no longer be intimidated) you could ever find, whether its about garden roses or politics or religion or how to make corn bread. WHY? Because people all have minds of their own. NO ONE wants to be told how they should act and be. If you don't like me, then stop enticing me.
AND where did you see me mentioning names in my hoopla remark? Are you trying to say that every single member of DPC is brilliant aside from me? Because that is what it sounds like.
And you don't have to SIT there and listen, YOU CAN STAND, or MOVE ON!
Now, mk, had this person been a little more approachable, I would have blown kisses and flower petals in their direction. BUT, like I said, rudenss begats rudeness.

HAHAHAHHA, do you think that hasn't happened? Why do you think it is locked and you have to register to post? AND no one THERE would tell you in so many words to sit back, relax, watch us, and learn. They would welcome you with open arms.

It's not really a rope so much as common sense. You seem to be quite surprised that people are not reacting well to someone who has shown up, spent very little time on the site and immediately begun criticizing nearly every aspect of it, as well as the participants. "Sit back and relax" seems like some pretty good advice for you right about now. |

This thread needs to be locked IMO - I'm usually quite tolerant, but this just makes me want to puke. |

Unfortunately, that would probably spark another debate in another thread about why this one was locked.

You are absolutely right, and the reason I just wrote to council. I am leaving this thread since so many are offended by my presence, but have suggested this thread be locked for the borish behavior on BOTH sides of the fence.
You have issues with me? Take them to my PM. I am no longer going to play the reindeer games here.
Good day,
