Anyone know anything about Jewish wedding music? Where can I get a song or two of the type they play when they hold the newlyweds up in the chair and dance them around? I think it's called Klezmer or something like that. Any help would be appreciated. I'm almost done with my wedding photomontage, this is the only missing piece. I already have the Catholic side of the wedding music and realized that I should be including the other half as well, especially during the photos of the dancing!

Rather than use the authentic Klezmer music that would be used at a wedding, I would use a track off one of Itzhak Perlman's Klezmer albums which would give more class to your presentation.

Thanks for the info. I'll look into that. I don't know if i want to purchase a CD for the project or anything as I'll likely never listen to it ever again. Maybe I'll ask around and see if anyone I know has it.

Your local library will probably have CDs that you can check out! Almost all of my classical music on my comp has come from.....

well....

let's just say it's on my computer ;-) and that your library probably has a good collection ;-)

Isn't there hava nagila (I'm sorry for butchering the spelling, but I've never seen it written, just heard it)

Or are we talking about the same song?

Sorry, guess I'm not much help

What music did you use for the Catholic piece?

Jewish Wedding Music

You can use PayPal on this site. Downloading the entire album is $1.97. If you need just one song, I have credits and will obtain it and e-mail it to you.
