Here is an Autumn take for another challenge. We don't experience an Autumn season as such where I am and it was also Spring when I took this photo (yesterday).

I am so ready for autumn! We don't have autumn here yet, however maybe it's on it's way. We have had a record breaking hot Sept. It was 104 here yesterday but a cold front came in last night and the high today is suppose to be 77. Yipee! Crazy Texas weather. |

We just returned from 46 days on the road in our motorhome. We were a little early for the great colors but I managed to get this one at a game reserve in the Colorado Rockies.

This is as close as we get to fall colors in San Diego, and I had to leave the desert and go up into the hills to get this.

I think, since we have had no rain for a month and all the leaves are drying up, that our colors will be horrible this year. Gonna have to go west... :)

I am hyped! I entered the final version of this shot mounted on foamboard in my first ever public/judged competition. It ended up placing 3rd after ending up in a three way tie for 1st. The judge was asked to split the tie.
