Okay I couldn't wait. Here's my out take...nothing at all like my entry, just took it and thought it was cute.
Duck & Lamp (edited to add title of pic)

Not realy an outtake because it was shot before the challenge.

Didn't want to enter it because it was too close to me personally. It's my folks and they're celebrating their 59th wedding anniversary in the next couple of weeks.

Duck and Lake ... too bad it's a goose

Or Duck and Leg?

Driven & Luminescence

My current entry is possibly my worst score ever! How would this one have done?

How about Dragon and Leaf

Very different from what I submitted.

This is a wonderful photo! :) They look to be a wonderful couple ;) The light through the leaves on the left is a bit distracting but i'd have given it an 8

MWitt, I really like your shot of the yellow car...hope you didn't pick the wrong one. I would have given that one a pretty good score. Good Luck. I think mine will deffinately do better than my original idea of Duck and Lamp. :)

thanks to MK (a computer genius!) here's my Digital Life (D&L) out take which looks nothing like what I entered and I'm second guessing myself.

Take the ID number from the end of the url of the photo, click on the "insert thumbnail" box on the righthand side of the icons above the posting box, paste the ID number, tada!

Not sure why, but I wish I had take an image of a llama being ridden by a doll (or perhaps Doll Parton). The image name would be Dolly & Llama ... Ok back to work :)

Thanks Lissylou!
My entry has been bumped up quite a bit since my post. So, doing better. Not sure I would have made it all the way through without a DQ on the yellow car shot. Too much editing to remove the background would have killed it right away. Left you a comment on your Duck and Lamp. Good luck to you too!

Here's mine. A highkey image that begs to have the title:

Dark & Light

Edit:
Just wondering how the voters would have taken to this image. My current entry is bombing at 5.3462 :( woe me...

My entry that almost got posted, wonder how it would have done?

08/29/2005 10:12:18 PM · #18
I posted this in other threads but not listed as the D&L outake that it is.

Down Low, was to be the title if entered. I have no idea why it didn't make the cut. It's totaly different from what I put in but now I'm curious how it would have rated. 20/20 hindsight? I'll take it.

I took this as Dark and Light, but didn't post it - too conventional.
08/30/2005 03:01:07 AM · #20
Here are some of mine. I was going to go with Dark and Light too but decided on something else that I probablly shouldn't have (as usual).

Or I was going to be a real loser and make up D+L names for these people. :)

I was split between this one and the one i entered but I'm sure I made the right choice! My entry is currently at a 6.0....so far so good :o)

I saw this driving home with my kids from a weekend away...debated entering, knowing it was a bit of a different take..plus I couldn't believe when i saw it...but just didn't like the shot enough...so I didn't enter at all.

I would have voted that one pretty high....7-8-9 range...

Here is my outake for D&L...I was afraid there would be way too many dragonflies -- Titled "Dragonfly and Litter"
