Yeh I thought that was quite cool to start with but then I disabled it cos it was putting weird sharpening artifacts and jaggy lines on my photos.

Yes, I noticed that also. That's why I'm keeping my web shot's at 640 pixels, which works pretty good on 800x600 screens and up. Oh well, can't have everything ... especially when it's free!

Same reason I stopped using it -- although someone mentioned a fix for that not too long ago. I'm sure they'll chime back in.

You just edit the html to make the swf embedded at a pixel number rather than a percentage.

day 16...if I miss a day I guess mine will also become Picture When I Can as well...but no matter it is a great experience.

Still going good...I always surprise myself with what I can come up with at 11 o'clock at night when I haven't had time to shoot all day. I'm seeing slow but serious improvements in my setup photos...

QUESTION:
If you have already posted a photo, but in the comments you see that you could have done better by processing it in a slightly different manner would you re-process and re-post the photo? or would you leave it as is?

What if you find a better photo from that day?

Just curious...

I've switched photos a couple of times and I continuously re-edit my photos throughout the day if I'm not completely happy with them :)

Would you go back now and change the Jan 4th photo if you tried something different and liked it better or do you feel like it's 'locked in' because it's an ongoing project and Jan 4th is gone and over with?

Ahh I see what you mean. I dont think I would change/update a photo that wasn't todays or yesterdays. But that's just me :)

Yesterday I spent 3 hours on trails in the state park and came up with one average shot.

Today I was on my way out the door and got a chance at a photo unique and fun for me - when I wasn't even looking.

Such is the fun and furious world of PAD's!

17 days and still going...

It was a great learning experience. I learned that PAD is not for me.

I'm still in...to my own surprise. I've never been able to commit to any other project ever! I'm so proud of myself! It's been hard some days but I really don't wanna fail. I think we're doing great!

This PaD has been such a wonderful experience! I have really enjoyed seeing everyone's photos each day. I hope you folks are checking them out too. Chiqui's has been really fun to view because she's always coming up with something unique or different. If you get a moment I highly recommend you look at her shots! On buzznet, I would also recommend you stop by and see some great experimentation by tranquil and zap228, and also discraft...he's been working on some great lighting techniques. There are so many others to list that have done exceptional work in the PaD projects that I'm afraid I'll leave someone out. Click on my PaD link and just go through my "friends" list when you have some free time. These folks have really put a lot of their hearts and souls into this project and every one of them is worth a view. :o)

I'm still hanging on ... 28 days !!! It's been great. I used to never pick up my camera during the week. I'm actively thinking about photography again. Works for me.

29 days and counting. It takes 30 days to build a new habit. Almost there. :) This week was pretty hard. Lots of work stress, and then I'd get home and just not want to even touch my camera. So rather than trying something artistic, I just started catching candid moments with my cats. Strangely enough- it's actually a little more fun. I hadn't just spent time candidly shooting my cats in ages. Fine art- no. Important family pictures? Totally.

Oh god, you're so kind! LOL Thank you very much, I'm glad you've enjoyed my pics. I've enjoyed yours too, specially that of your favorite movies, the Star Wars series. ROFL...Anyhow, thanks again.

Still in! My family is now in on the lingo and the goal. "Do you have your photo yet today?" is what my 10 yr old says when she comes in from school. "You should take a picture of that for your PAD," my husband suggested the other day.

I do love looking at other's PaD's as well. It not only is good photogrpahy in most cases, but it's a way of staying inspired and encouraged to keep up the exercise.

Although, after almost a full month, my guestbook remains empty :(

Still in.... I've missed a day or two of actually taking a shot, but on those days I just processed a shot from a previous day and put it up. Cheating? maybe... but I was still working on my photography which is what it's all about for me...

But most of all, I've really enjoyed checking out what other folks have been doing. There's some really great stuff out there! :-)

I'm still going too! :) At the end of each month I'm gonna put up all my photos on DPC so I can make prints available and stuff, try and make a couple of dollars while I'm enjoying the hobby :)

One month is behind us. Great job for those who have made it through the first month.
