Thanks for the help. I feel I need to get over the hump of the "missing" pic, but I'll just use a nauseating one of my cat taken on the 30th instead. :P

Ok, I need some encouragement here:

I too had the PaD plan, but I've been sick as a dog and couldn't even get out of bed yesterday. I suppose I could have dragged myself to the cam and taken a shot of my foot or the ceiling or something like that, but I thought taking random shots of my apartment wouldn't be in the true spirit of a PaD plan.

Can I still have a PaD for 2005, or is it too late?

Sadly,

I also missed the 1st (hangover :() I took an extra picture on the second and used that, I think it is still within the spirit of a PAD or you could do a PAW (Photo a Week) I have seen a few of theses on pbase.

I'll try my best to keep up with everyone, and for the people who do have pbase will just be that much easier to do so. I already posted mine two posts earlier than this one.

I just started mine on PBase. Jan1 photo is current challenge entry, so it won't be visable until after the challenge is over.

Just registered with PBASE but will have to load the pics I put in here when I get home..... I use PictureTrail already but this one is better so may cancel my PictureTrail account and move it there as well if it works out...

Well, day 3 has been posted. Nothing special, just a snap of some Christmas cards but it's a memory from this year.

Hope everybody else is fairing OK, even if it is early days.

You've all inspired me. Luckily, I legitimately took at least one photo a day since Jan 1. Great idea for a new year's resolution. Here's mine so far - three days' worth:

My PAD still going strong! I was running out of ideas when I saw an old fortune cookie on the table. This gave me an idea and I was going to print out my own fortune and put it with the cookie for a photo...I opened the cookie and here was the fortune in it:

I couldn't have printed something better than the actual fortune! :D

After 4 days into this, I feel the lack of subjects to shoot...yes sounds really lame, but this is what I feel. On the weekends, this could be easy, but on weekdays its not easy to get out and shoot.
My question to you guys is what do you do to shoot everyday ? Look for things in your house ? go out ?

So far I haven't taken any outside shots. I've just done still life shots and abstracts using things around the house. I dont think I'll last long tho just doing that...

I find that after four days, I'm already more keenly aware of the things around me because I know that I will have to photograph at least one thing that day!

I'm also much more inclined to slam on the brakes, pull my car over and take some photographs instead of saying "crap, i shoulda..."

Here's mine...comments always welcome!

First one was easy...my entry for Resolutions. Second one I decided a self portrait so folks would know who's doing the shooting.

Third one...hmmm. Well, it's been raining here every day for 4 days! I went out the third day to try a macro raindrop shot but it was raining too hard so I got this instead:

PAD January 3, 2005

The 4th has been there a while and it was something I'd been meaning to take some shots of. Got a small break in the rain and the gray day suited the subject.

Today...STILL raining and I'm not feeling great. You can tell by my photo for today...but I'm glad I had to look around and take it! It's been really fun so far.

During my lunch break I find something to shoot, even if it's just out the window like my shot for today. :o)
