I've been doing it already, but also resolved to continue.
Mine is at //www.ecola.us/Zphotoaday.htm
Haven't updated in...3 months, but I still have a file on my computer with all of them =). Also planning on getting a larger image size gallery online, better than just the thumbnails I currently have.

I am into this too... I thought I would do two or three when I have time. I have three kids and so I thought I might try to put one family photo plus one other photo. I started a few days ago, just to get a "running start" into the New Year.

I wish everyone luck that is doing this!

//brianlh.buzznet.com

i got introduced to this site via laurielblack and then blemt. it's really pretty easy to use and kinda neat, if anyone is still looking for a place to store their images (or doesn't like the place they currently store them - you only have to change 1 or 2 pics by the time you read this!).. kinda neat cuz we can add others as 'friends' and click on our friends like and see thumbnails of everyone's most recent update and whatnot. maybe if we overflow it with DPC members, we can convince them to add a community for us - then we'd really have it made!

haha - anyway, happy PaDing everyone.. unfortunately I'll have to admit that I'll be cheating, since I know I won't be able to take a picture every day (nor be around a computer every day).. but I'll try for awhile :)

It's one of my New Year's resolutions to take a photo a day, so I may as well show them to the world while I'm at it ;o)

Manic's Photo-a-Day Project

Good luck to everyone else doing a Photo a Day!

I'm also going to use the buzznet site for now...

ok...Now I'm in a bind...the photo I want to use for PAD is also the one I'm going to enter in a challenge. I think I should put a little waiver thing up on the site that will say that it will be displayed when voting is over. What do you guys think?

//www.konador.com/photoaday

I put a warning on my site that it may include current challenge entries, so if people don't want to know which photo is mine they don't have to look, but people who don't use DPC don't have to wonder why certain photos are missing :)

yeah I hear you -- but I really like the whole anonymous thing while voting. I don't want to feel that my photo was downvoted because someone saw it on my PAD site and I'm not one of the big guys or someone doesn't agree with something I've said or whatever (I personally would never do such a thing).

I've signed up with Buzznet too. Orginally, I was going to use blogspot.com but as this is being recommended I thought that I'd go with it too.

As you say, it's very easy to set up and maintain. Obviously, one of the main things with any project like this is that it must be easy to update. Otherwise, the effort of taking the pictures will be negated by the fact that it's too difficult to upload them.

So, if you wish to see my, as yet, uninspiring start it's wobspad and it's here - //wobspad.buzznet.com/user

Tried to comment on your image (it's really nice!) but since PBASE is having such traffic problems right now the page won't load. :o( I'll come back later! :o)

Well, Jan 1st's photo has been placed in the calender (//www.pbase.com/image/30473029)........take a look; this is my first ever attempt at an artsy (impressionistic?) photo:

I think this PAD thing is a challenge in and of itself, but it's very cool. Now, for Jan 2nd............

Okay, Jan 1st and 2nd are secured! This PAD is truly a great motivator to keep my eyes open and get off my butt to take some photos!

Seems like we all had the same great idea, eh? I'll follow your guys lead and go the Buzznet route, thanks for the link. :-)

It'll be hard to keep it up, but by gosh, I've got to follow through with something!! :-D Happy New Year all, and best of luck to you with you PAD Projects. I'll be checking into them often.

Jen's PAD attempt!

O.K., I'm there too. Not sure I did the link thing right, but we will see... Thanks, Laurie, looks like we are trying to follow your lead with Buzznet. Just want you to know you are really appreciated!!!! :)

Thanks also to Doctornick and Ben, and the rest of you guys for the encouragement to continue, and keep up with this. I hope this is great year for everyone!!

(edited for clarity..)
