Your right Will I struggled to get the lighting to pic up any hair at all!! I think I found a few but unfortunately they were all grey :-)

Hi Erik, I definately prefer the black and white one as I think the white balance is a bit off on the colour version. It's a great shot as it is, but is there any photo real estate left below the chin so that you could crop a bit tighter on the face with the eyes higher above the vertical centre line.

I was expecting a wide standard deviation of scores with my literal interpretation of the challenge but 16 scores below 3 is somewhat crazy. I appreciate the DNMC comments but, as per the challenge title and description are these not overhead power lines?

Powerlines - make OVERHEAD POWER TRANSMISSION LINES or the EQUIPMENT to SUPPORT them the subject of your photograph

Thanks for all the positive comments, but I guess it's back to a boring formula shot for me this week!

Great shot Will, the blown out sky really makes the cow jump out from the screen. Not bad for one that you thought was going to bomb. Are you sure you didn't cut the cow out in photoshop as another DQ would get me into the top ten? :-)

Great shot that gets a good score from me, but please, please please give the voter some credit to think that you would have used pasta to create the shot. Stars and Stripes would have been a great title
