Leaving the Carcassby jbsmithanaComment: Shots of birds flying out of the frame always look unbalanced to me. This would be perfect if he was flying into the frame...

Zoom in on the windowby maessengerComment: Great concept, but you have a couple of minor flaws. Too many unneeded objects in the frame (lawn chairs and whatever is below the sink on the right. Also your subject needs much more light to make him the true focal point of the shot.

First Baseby L1Comment: The harsh lighting and the placement of the players foot against the shadows makes this look almost unnatural. Almost like the shoe is not in the right place...

Revelationby BlimComment: Very nicely composed. I think that a different time of day with the lighting conditions just perfect this could be an awesome shot. Is this a location that you can scope out first thing in the mornning and late in the evening to see where the sunlight falls on the crucifix? It's just the way that it is here is a little too monotone and your subject is lost in the textures...

Piece of fireby vasilkovayaComment: OK... I'm impressed. You broke a rule of composition and jammed your subject way down in the corner like many other shots in this challenge, but the difference is in this one it works. I don't know if it's the fact that you left it in colo, or the very minimalistic border that you put around it that kinda pulls it out of the corner a bit, but it works. You got my vote of confidence!

hand-elarbraby barbaraanneComment: That's not a real hand is it? Or did you neat image the hell out of it? It looks plastic. Great composition. You got some jaggies on the top side of the wrist from jpeg compression.

Pinnedby MoxyComment: That's obviously not a tack... Ooops wrong challenge! :-P Great simple composition. Love the catchlight on the head of the pin. It's a little grainy, but doesn't detract from the overall effect, but I'm not sure it adds to the effect either. Did you add grain, or is that the way the camera captured it? Just curious.

A Cathedral; a straight and narrow path; there's a link there somewhere!by p2jvrComment: Don't you know that centered compositions are against the rules? LOL Great capture. Love the deer wandering across the road. Love the two people walking up the road by the catherdral. Love the small cathedral at the end of the path. I love the fact that the speed voters aren't gonna get to see all those details that add up to an extra point from this much slower voter!
