OK - I guess trying something a little different did not work here. I know the "rule" of space in front of the subject. Figured this one deserved to break the rule since this bird was leterally "leaving the carcass" and it was a cahllenge concerning minimalism. Oh well, maybew next time. Thanks for the comments and a relativly good score considering the plainness of my shot.

Shots of birds flying out of the frame always look unbalanced to me. This would be perfect if he was flying into the frame...

Not to mention leaving the canvas.

I'm more of a 'put the open space in front of the motion' person. The bird just looks cramped in the corner. 5

Nice, crisp focus. However, I would prefer the composition of the subject to have the empty space in front of it rather than behind the bird. You have given it \"minimal\" space to fly within the frame. Maybe that was the point.

Good title, though some may not appreciate it as much as me

I would rather see the bird flying into the shot, but I know its not easy to capture this type of pic in the first place. Good clarity and detail on the bird.

Very nice. The blue of the sky is beautiful and really makes for a nice contrast to the bird. I like the positioning of the bird in your frame too.

I think that I would move the bird to the right side, I find myself asking whats he flying to. 6

Would of liked to see the bird on the right hand side of the picture. Feel the bird is leaving the picture.

Very good, might have been nice to have the bird on the right hand side entering the shot

The typical shot of any living thing is expected to let the viewer follow through by following the direction in which the object looks or moves towards.

What I'm trying to say is, the bird belongs to the top-right corner of the photo, not the top left.

Nice image, I don't think the title helps any though.

This would be a more powerful image if he was flying into the frame, leaving some space in front of him in which to fly.

Would have scored higher if bird wasn't leaving the scene. 7.
