Great concept, but you have a couple of minor flaws. Too many unneeded objects in the frame (lawn chairs and whatever is below the sink on the right. Also your subject needs much more light to make him the true focal point of the shot.

maybe you should have zoomed it more.

Good idea IMO, but overall the picture is too busy to work as it is (especially for minimalism).

This is fantastic. excellent work.

great shot, but probably too many minimal things in the photo....

I really like the idea. The only suggestion I would make is to remove the two lawn chairs as they draw the eye away from the person in the window.

Interesting idea, however the main subject is a little subtle and isn't enough to draw attention from its surroundings. Good effort

To be honest I don't like titles on photographs....I love that you used the title to tell me what the subject is or were it is, but that is not the mark of a good photo. As the photo needs to live beyond and apart of its creator. I like this image very much as a whole and with a little more attention to framing I think you would have a very good image to be proud of. Based on my guidelines for voting for this image: How it meets the defination of minimalism, How it meets the challenge description, technical and artistic considerations, you would score a 6 artisitic being the stronge point in this image and technical following in second. If this example is a good example of your work...I believe you have a good eye..

Interesting concept, but it feels a little muddled to me. You've definitely met the letter of the challenge, but I think the subject should stand out a bit more from it's background (or in this case, foreground).

Happy to get the tip in your title as to the main subject. You made me laugh! : ) Glad you did it, though, because the chairs stole my attention at first. Nice composition, and nice lighting on reflection in window.

perfect. this challenge to me means that the first thing that your eyes go to in the photo should actually be the most minimal part of the image. When I first looked at this image the first thing I saw was the guy in the window...so its a 10!

In my opinion, this picture would have been better without the chairs in the foreground.

There is alot here but not really very interesting.

A difficult image to comment on really, it has simplicity and is minimal, but the elegance I associate with minimalism is lacking

clear pic - but if the person is the focus, why so dark
