Ready for Combatby phloverComment: Great Artifact. Wish i had one of those. The clutter in teh background hurts you in the image though. Moving it to a place where there was less in the background would have been great. Also, increasing the contrast on this also woul have helped. The colours and texture could have been brought out so much more. |

Days of Innocenceby jymbo53Comment: Without the title, I would have been struggling to see the connection here. Prehaps a more obvious portrayal of Innocence, a pretty frilly ppink dress on her, a different angle, or somehting may have helped. The result here is a very flat image with very little outside appeal. The lack of colour, or lighting effects mean it is a rather plain photo |

Human Aided Designby LaMasComment: CAD is so much easier. I can remove that line with a click of the button, instead of scratching it out off the film.
Simple, elegant, and works really well for me. I like the light fading to black across the plans. Maybe the top instrument could have been lit better, but that would have been tricky still geting the fade effect. I even like the shaddows that have been created. I think they also add to what you are trying to achieve. |

Real Photo Albumby other_dukeComment: Yes, I remember, and No, I no longer use them......The digital age means few photos are printed.
The colour and the clutter are both gouing to hurt you here. I don't think the clothes in the right or the photo in the left add to the photo, so they are just distractions. The colours are very flat. This could have been altered in Post Processing to get some more constrast and vibrance to the photo |

Old Fashioned Candy Buttonsby justineComment: Now this is one I don't remember, either I am not old enough, or we didn't have these down in Aus
Great Depth of field here. The bright colours work really well for this. Prehaps a black background, instead of wood grain, would have really added to this as the wood grain detail is noticable.
Apart from that, a great submission |

Now, Where Did I Park My Car? by bruskiComment: A long time ago
I like the composition fo this photo, the subject is great for this challenge. The darkness in the sky at the top of the image though seems a bit fake, especailly against the very light foreground. I do like the scattered parts around the car. |

What... Is It ?by sfarrell23Comment: I used to have one of those as a kid. They were cool...........
Nice idea, nice composition, however I always remembered these are really brightly coloured. Some additional Saturation and contrast on this to make the colours really pop I think would have worked better, rather than these more pale colours.

I am a very old photographerby jimsappComment: A simple image, but one that actually tells us something about you, and therefore, is a self portrait. Good Idea and good execution of this |

The Pastor is HOTby hotpastaComment: Very, Very Clever. Finally something that stands out both as a good idea, good execution and actually being a Self Portrait as well.
Composition is good, lighting is good but could have been clightly better. I like the highlights on the bowl, but maybe being able to see a little more of the bowl shape could have helped.
One of the best in this challenge |
