Church Pewsby jonpinkComment: Awesome! Excellent shot for this challenge, very abstract and certainly a creative POV. I thought this was a very curvacous underground parking lot... nively done! 9 |

Smoke IIby soupComment: Have you tried inverting this photo? I had been trying to capture a good smoke shot for awhile, and then figured out that if you inverted a picture just like this, it really enhanced the beauty of the smoke! I entered my shot in the New Year's Resolution challenge check it out here. Your shutter speed is much faster then mine, so I wouldn't worry about that! A nice smoke shot for sure, just need a little kick, or something to give it some grab!

Frosted Beautyby moodvilleComment: I love this shot. The DOF is enticing, and really draws me in and the way the leaves are positioned leads me straight to the leaf that is in focus and has the least amount of snow on it! Very well thought out composition! Lighting is nice, as is the toning of the photo! Overall VERY nice! 9 |

Last cigar puffby AndyTekComment: Hmmm, this shot looks familiar ;-)! A great technique to make smoke look better is too invert the image! Makes the smoke black, and background white!! Looks like you needed a faster shutter speed here, and some different lighting. ,I lit directly from the back with about four lamps, one from overtop and one from the side! I think you should've stuck with cigarettes though, cause the incense doesn't look like a cigar! Unless I'm just stupid and that's actually a cigar, and not incense, lol! A nice attempt, that frist cylinder shape is great! |

Go for it!by kernalklikComment: Excellent DOF here! Nice color, and a nice composition! It's IMO bad ettiquette to include something that gives away your identity in a photo though, at least as blatently as in this photo, Mr. Ken Choate. A nice shot nonetheless! DOn't worry I'm not marking you down for that! |

More Yogaby ColeyComment: would be great if you could've gotten your black clothes to blend in with the black background, leaving just the skin tones visible in a sea of black! Without that the image lacks pizazz! A noble goal, I'm involved with yoga and love it! Keep it up, it's fabulous! |
