I like the colors in this, good choice of time of day. Very moody.

Such a simple picture yet there's something about it that just talks to me. I would feel safe under that light.... looking at the architecture, I would need to feel safe I think. :-) The level are great. Beautiful composition. 9

This certainly leaves you cold...in a good way.

Really like this shot..very moody.
A shadowy figure under the light or walking past would have finished it off for me.
Good work

The clarity is superb for a night shot. Awesome lighting too.. if the street lamp weren't a burnt-in orangeish circle, you'd have a 10.

Beautiful - I have little more to say :-) Perfect execution, perfect composition. I'd almost buy this, except i think the moonlight edging the top of the building doesn't work for me - have no idea why, even after a long look, but I think it takes away some of the two-dimensional quality of the building's facade. Great work.

Nicely done! The street lighting gives enough information so you can see details of the brick wall and of the faded sign for hardware. Excellent job! 10

This is a nice simple shot that has a lot of character to it. You might have experimented with going even wider on this shot in order to maximize the impact of the streetlamp's pyramid of light it casts. Good work.

Very interesting. I like the lonely feeling your captured here. Great use of the light. I like the fact that you set the light off centre. Good luck. Jacko. 9

Spectacular shot. Great tones, composition and mood. I'll look forward to seeing how you achieved the correction for the perspective. The straight archetectural lines are very impressive and beautiful. 9

love it. doesn't really look like an alley, but the title making me think that way improves upon it a bit for me.. a bit of light in a sea of darkness, right above a lone, white door against a dull, brown wall. great colors and composition. 10.
