Ah, you know what means DDOF! Nice composition, B/W works well. If the dark parts of the board where a bit darker (more contrast selectively? or some burning ?), the effect could even be more effective IMHO.

Nice composition. The use of a very wide angle lens helps to stay in focus indeed.
Anyway the first step seems slighly blurry IMO. I had be nice to see sharply the wooden texture of it.
