the kat farmby cginoComment: Those clouds boil in endless turmoil, quite a contrast to your snug and stable house (with a very nice fence attached). I'll bet it feels great to humker down with a good book when the wind howls. |

7-june 09 where i live. in the waiting roomby rozComment: Excellent use for wide lens, and interesting combination of foot on floor, foot elevated, and legs to make a combined diagonal. The low tech chairs in stark rows are enhanced by your very good black and white processing. Sorry to hear of you being sick. Hope the doctor had something useful for you. |

Travelersby BalkoComment: Takes me back many years to reading Around the World in 80 Days. Good for you for snagging at least one image that skips the colorful inflated fabric and lets us see the people instead. |

O.Oby nixterComment: Great expression, enhanced by choice of black and white. Great timing to capture this with the other people nicely tucked into the background. |

New Hope_6157.jpgby JerseyGenieComment: The bridge structure forms a cage visually capturing the trees -- conjuring up the archetypes of nature and technology sharing the same world. Colors and reflections beautiful. |

Home is Where the Food Isby dafletchrComment: Having just a touch of the great outdoors in the background sets the horses and stable into context. Textures on the ground against the smooth metal fencing well captured. Nice of the horse to look right into the camera. |

06 Here, There, Everywhereby ordinaryangelComment: I like how your removal of color helps the eye appreciate the circular and angular forms better. Overlap of front wheels and mixture of bright and dark agains the wall make a fine image. Bikes are an execllent form of transportation (when time/distance allows). I managed to ride one a lot when living in San Francisco several decades ago, and really appreciated having an extra low gear to deal with the hills. |

Batheby RetroesqueComment: That curve of light contrasts unexpectedly well with all the rectangular elements, and makes for interesting shadows at the sme time. What a wonderful retreat to have in a home. |

Sunset in the Valleyby dafletchrComment: Very strong and enjoyable composition. The two nicely distinct thick branches take the eye from the bright sun out into the upper part of the image, making easy the remaining journey down to the hills (with their own diagonals converging near a vanishing point) and repeating patterns of hay bales. Wonderful timing to capture the shadows, detail, and color. |
