Tribute to the Cowboyby DennisFComment: HMM, i am trying to comment on all the shots, I really like the building in the background. And think I would like the shot more without the monument, but being that is the challenge, I am not sure. I guess the comp is ok, it is in focus, lighting is not bad. So mostly I think lacking 'wow' factor. good job with the tech part, keep up the good work. |

Stanford University Memorial Churchby JPRComment: I like the 2 people in it, adds context, lots of tones too, well done. Perhaps, and what do I know, would of given more sky and less grass, luring the eye upward. |

Monument to Massacreby amsmythComment: Would of cropped out the top line, there is alredy enough to look at in the bottom, and top just distracts from subject. The cross is cropped too tight on the left I think. Just my opinion |

Our Freedomby sagestudioComment: Well, I am trying to comment on all the shots... I think i find this one a little hard to decide what to focus on, I am wishing you had a more solid and blurred background. I like the 'freedom' of the kids playing, though their movement/freedom (feet ) are cut off, the large overexposed part i find distracting. just my opinion. |

Sphinxby PaulMdxComment: Not a reall wow shot but nice to see such a historical monument, I like the broken nose. tones are good, slightly off center, maybe thats intentional, good job.

WWII Monument in Ottawaby kosmikkreeperComment: The part of this photo IMO which has the most 'wow' potential is the lower middle part with the shadows. All the light (and interest IMO) is there. I would love to see this re-shot or cropped to highlight only that area. It would add detail to the monument and give more of a focus to that really spectacular area. I actually tried cropping here, and it is very pixelized, but the potential is clear, if you ever reshoot it I would love to see it. |

November 22, 1963by crabappl3Comment: An interesting abstract, not sure what the monument is (though not important i guess), I love the clouds. I don't particularly like the format or the border. The border IMO distracts from your image vs. enhances it. |

Patriot's Monumentby channeledComment: Hmm, trying to comment on most of shots this challenge so here we go: 1. if shot in portrait mode the parking lot would be blurred and not so distracting (and sorry ugly : 0 ). I like the boy looking at it, adds a bit of life. The lighting may have been a bit nicer at different time of day, i.e. evening. I think the stone on right could of been crooped getting rid of the little bush and building. also would of brought rest as more of focal point. just my thoughts. |
