Clock Faceby jitamsComment: This would have been a good stock photography entry too :-) What this photo lacks in imagination it more than makes up for in technical excellence. |

Things of the Pastby mcraelComment: Are you sure this wan't taken 60 years ago? It looks great! My only suggestion would be to add some more color to the photo, or take more out. We're in a washe dout midde ground that doens't seem to be intentional - especially notided in the green of the trees. Just a thought, I wonder what thsi pic would look like in b/w or sepia. BTW, are those potty sheds in the background? |

Life Span by dsidwellComment: Composition seems unbalanced, boy's face needs more dimension. Excellent dimension in man's face. Why is the man looking down or have his eyes shut when the boy is looking at th camera? It gives each subject a different relationship to the viewer. Is the man reading him a book? is he asleep? These are the questions that run through my mind. |

Oxymoron by TarbiniComment: Ok, just so I'm clear for future reference... It's acceptable to adjust any of the color layers as long as the same adjustment is applied to the whole layer? |

Oxymoron by TarbiniComment: I'm not a member so I couldn't vote but doesn't this picture break the rule of spot editing? It's obviouls a manuiplulated red stop sign, you can still see red pixels around the egde of the green. Message edited by author 2003-03-21 09:19:07. |

Amnestied by ndsComment: Holy cow, that's awesome! Great idea! I think amnesty is the perfect word... or Freggenstein ... Frankenegg ... something like that. Anyway, your patience paid off, beautiful shot! |

Green, naturallyby joannsComment: This is a very nice composition. The only negative (hopefullt constructive) thing I ahve to say is that the lighting is too harsh. The subject would benefit from softer, more ambient lighting. Try to soften the shadows and reduce the sheen of the leaves. Find a nice middle ground. |
