Well it is actually suspended about five inches above a white piece of paper on my desk. I taped it to a piece of foam and set that foam on a box of business cards. Unlike a lot of people. All of my images are done while holding the camera. I don't use extra lights or tripods on the shots I take here. My only reason, I just don't have time to set it up. Here is a shot of the bolt, still sitting on my desk, where I took the photo. [thumb]657614[/thumb] And I am wearing blue shirt, the yellow is from the walls I think or the cheap florescent lights in my office.

Actually not very new at all, about six years or so. This is on my daughters laptop. I had to wash the keyboard before the photos because they were all brown with dirt.

I like it but would like it more if the DoF was a little longer into the shot.

Day 11 - Old tape

I like the image but wonder if you were to play with the balance a bit you might really bring out the texture of the tape. It is there, can see it a little, but I think it would make the image pop a bit more if you could really see it.

I think a tighter crop would really improve this image... this can also ruin it by showing how out of focus it might be. Just my $.02
