This is so very small. But it doesn't look like a gloomy day to me. The shadows seem to indicate bright sunlight, which isn't my idea of gloomy.

Beautiful color. Just can't decide if you might have come up with a better way to cut out of the massive amounts of darkness at the top and bottom. I guess that tells an important part of the story.

Beautiful. Excelent subject for the theme (lucky you, you've got weather! ;-) ). Not sure how everyone else will feel, but I like the composition. Also, the color, lighting, everything works in this shot. This is a top shot in the challenge for me.

Good idea. (Desperate for "weather" in southern CA, I considered this one as well.) The penny and title give it a unique twist. Something about the overall image doesn't quite apeal to me, yet it's a fairly well done shot. I want to say there's too much clutter, but it fits the title. Or maybe it doesn't. I can't decide, but overall I think you did good.
