CC Good evening Paige

Fits The Challenge-Yes
Composition-okay
Background-lovely
My Opinion-It's like the old hole in the doughnut- We needed 'the rest of the weathervane'. What is here is very nice...the sky is wonderful and really sets off the horse beautifully. You did well with what is here. Next challenge. :)

Nice approach to the challenge; I would have preferred to see more of the weathervane.

You really needed to show a bit more of the weather vane for this particular challenge. If it weren't for the title, I'm not sure I would have known what it was.

i would have liked to see more of the arrow and stem maybe higher up in the frame.

Ah, now I like this one.. Great use of negative space, almost reminds me of the "Cowspace" photo in the "Negative space" challenge a few months back. Pity the horse figure isn't a little bit sharper, but since this may be down to your equipment, I will give you an 8 this week.. Well done!

Neat shot! Very clear, nice sky. The horse is a bit more silhouetted than I would have liked, but that's either your choice or impossible. 8 Rob the Swash

Great shot, I just want to see the whole arrow of the vane, to make it more obvious what it is. Not too far out so I can't see the horse, just a little more.

Nice positioning, but it feels like something is missing in the upper left corner.

Cropping hurts you here. Clouds are nice.

That sky looks awesome! Good shot. This would have looked great without the base of the horse statue showing, only the silohuette of the horse. But I see that isn't possible.

Good idea, but for me, I think you should have let the clouds be in focus, and include a little more of the weather vane. Not bad thoug.

Interesting. I guess this is a weather vain. I would have liked to see more of it, OR less (just have the horse). The way it is framed the leaves (or whatever on either side of the horse) take away from the shot. I find the boarder too overpowering.

I wish we could see more of the weather vane!

Ah... I see - you have used the centre of the vane as a crop point. Perhaps a thiner boarder would have disguised this less.

You should included more of it. Why didn't you????? At least the arrow. This would have been a LOT better that way.

Is there any detail to your weather vane or is it plainly flat....

Interesting perspective, dropping off the bottom half of the vane. Great blue sky. Is there much detail on the horse. Would like to see a touch more light on it to see.
