Fine. Don't play with me then.by sheila99Comment: A lot of pet shots in this challenge, but this one hits the mark. Expression spot on, the textures in the hair and seat are great and colour tones blend well. DOF nice as having all the body in focus would take the eye away from the face. |

The amazing Skywheel of Dr Parnassusby MilesWComment: PostChallenge:
Wow - strong finish given that this was sub-6 a couple of days into voting and 6.1 most of the week. Many thanks for all the kind comments, votes and faves.
As Posthumous correctly spotted, this shot was taken by hand-holding a small mirror (or in this case a 10x10cm mirror tile) in front of the lens and angling it so that the top third of the wheel is reflected into the bottom third of the shot. There is very little post-processing other than to balance some brightness and tweak some colours.
Taking this shot did generate quite a bit of interest from other photographers present who wanted to know why I was waving a mirror in front of my lens! |

The Power & The Beautyby JedusiComment: Crackin' shot Steve, shame it missed out on a ribbon. We didn't have anything like that at Duxford :) |

Colors by IreneMComment: Elegant with stunning clarity and simplicity of composition. Now who could that be?
Congrats on the ribbon - I'd love to know how you get that clarity into a shot, is your kitchen on top of a mountain? ;-) |

... and i can talk too !! by rozComment: Fantastic composition Roz, many congratulations on the blue. Brilliant expression on Katee's face & the inclusion of the mirror is inspired - it forms a triangle of her reflection looking at the drawing, whilst the drawing is looking at her and she is looking at you :-) |

Shonaby dwterryComment: Hugely under-rated shot. A striking high-key portrait, beautifully executed. |

Standing in Lineby YomiComment: Fantastic - you've hit on the perfect background for a zebra shot. Black & white is absolutely the right way to go here and seeing the flow of the fence to provide a visual stop on the right is inspired. A pattern shot par excellence. |

dis'con·nec'tionby SeanachaiComment: This is a fantastic shot - you've perfectly captured a scene that is played out in a thousand conference halls, but with a variety of poses and a separation between subjects that illustrates how people try to get some private space when is a completely public area. Brilliant. |
