The Color of Money by TerryGeeComment: Very well done, but obviously derivative, and why that title given the muted shades here? Yeah, it's kind of green, but the whole world's currency is not that shade necessarily ... |

Big Bucks!by basia03Comment: Love the point of view taken here - like an intruder, almost. think I would have prefered it exposed properly for the house, and leaving the trees in silhouette - that sense of exclusion wouldn't be harmed by that, surely? |

My Parentsby arnitComment: By far the most intersting portrait so far in this challenge - love the expressions, composition, lighting. |

Homeby spillerComment: Nice shot. Seems a little tilted though - just a degree or so to the right, and also some perspective distortion - the far right wall tilts more than the corner of the garage. The cat is a nice additional element. |

In a previous existenceby e301Comment: Originally posted by dsidwell: I suppose you mean "in a PREVIOUS existence?" No matter. I love the point of view here, and your lighting could not be better. Super work! |
Note for future confused readers of this comment: photo originally titled 'In a pervious existence' - just a typo - but I found a way to correct it :-) after voting. |

Garlicby HavokComment: Great light - though something odd is happening on the fringes of the shadws - looks almost like spilt blood, but follows the shadow line so much it almost has to be a processing artefact. I think the background garlic is unnecceary for such a simple image. Great work on the texture of the skins though. One thing you have achieved is the closeness necessary to make me think of aroma: when one tries to smell something, one moves closer to it. |

Freshly Bakedby amcraigComment: Did you buy a baking tray just for this shot? And were those cookies really baked on it? It's still very clean ... kind of points up the dirty look of the oven behind them I fear. |

Fresh Bread Baked Daily (since 1903)by mariomelComment: Bakeries were one of my thoughts for this too: that yeast smell first thing in the morning :-) Can't decide between liking and not liking the perspective distortion in this image though: it gives the right feeling of closeness, but also the wrong feeling of oddness. |

Scented sentimentsby drydocComment: Interesting approach. Not convinced the near-ground lamp bowl adds a hell of a lot. There's tonality and texture in the shot - but aroma? I don't know. But then I haven't ever seen a shot that reminded me of a smell yet. |
