I kind of like the brightness at the tips of the fingers. It's almost as though the hand is reaching into something ethereal. Lovely emotive shot!

I love this shot. You've really captured this kitty's personality/ thoughts at this moment (whatever cats think....*grin*)

I'm wondering if perhaps, having cut and pasted another layer of the cat itself and dodging the background to lighten it just a bit around the cat, might have made it stood out a bit more? I think that adjusting brightness/contrast might have blown things out or darkened the cat too much so, I think that dodging the background a bit lighter and perhaps, blending it to the darker outside edges might have highlighted the focal point of the cat just a bit more dramatically?

Simple in compostion, yet captures a message. Very nice!

I'd likely have played just a bit more with the contrast and brightness/curves to really bring out the individual pieces to this shot and really have highlighted the sign a bit more. But, then again, it's all very subjective what our eyes want to see, isn't it?

Ya know, not enough credit is given to the editing software and what we can do with it. The style for these challenges seems to be one that is very recognizable as opposed to really being able to be somewhat "abstract".

I love the idea that you've added noise to this and almost "posterized" it. I think we need to keep seeing more of what can be done with the editing software! I really like this.

Ah, come on......the 1'2, 2's and 3's are ridiculous here! Come on people......be decent here! This wasn't a DNMC entry! I really feel that these marks were totally unfair. Minimum should have been a 4.

People either got this, or they didn't. Thank you to the ones who saw something different in a challenge that was fraught with the same type of reflective city water scenes!
