Funny shot, like we need a sign to recognize it. :) I agree with the others that it could probably do with a bit more contrast. I like how you framed this to truncate the sign. |

I am glad the sign is there. Otherwise I would have parked my car there. |

Signs are fun, but I am thinking maybe if you did some strong burning on everything... it could look like a burnt 'wilderness' and really give some strong emotive values. As it is now, just seems a bit flat. |

Nice composition.
I guess (and believe me if you look at my images you will realise that I am NOT one to talk about this) that I may have prefered more contrast |

Great sign, great perspective - more contrast would have really 'grabbed' the moment for me. |

I like the detail in the cattails in the background. |

I love this type of photography as it is kind of out of the box style of image. It aslo has a message as well.....Well done. |

Way to go with out of the box thinking - while down played in voting at DPC, I always try to encourage more of it. |

I really like the composition here. Unconventional and interesting. A bit more contrast might make it pop more. |

Love your natural eye. This is a great capture. So many people would have just walked on by this gem. |

Cool contrast of elements, neat photo. Looks a bit dull, could use a bit more contrast to make it pop. |

I like the composition too, how you can't see the other side of the sign. It draws you in and keeps it from being too predictable. And I love how you can see all the wilderness around the sign, like it's confirming it.

Simple in compostion, yet captures a message. Very nice!
I'd likely have played just a bit more with the contrast and brightness/curves to really bring out the individual pieces to this shot and really have highlighted the sign a bit more. But, then again, it's all very subjective what our eyes want to see, isn't it? |
