Slot Canyon by ArtifactsComment: I'm jealous and deeply resentful that you didn't pay for me to come down and explore this canyon with you. Actually, I'm just admiring this photo a lot! Very nice work, Steve! This certainly belongs in the top! Woooooohooooo! |

Solitudeby p_johnsComment: Lots of drama here. The lovely colors and sillhouette work well together here. I do think the figure might be better just a little to the right to balance things out more, but a lovely photo. 8 |

Aloft by BradComment: I sure love the drama here. Moody sky, diagonal lines, lovely tones. Though the focus is on the sail, I still find myself wanting to see more of the ship, so you may consider cropping more so I don't have that desire, or including more of the ship, or ignoring me and congratulating yourself for a marvelous photo! |

The Walkby L1Comment: Very nice tones! The leading lines of the road, though mostly implied, still work to bring my eyes into the photo. I love the softness of the surrounding vegetation while having nice, sharp focus on the figures. An emotive and lovely image. 8 |

All the Good Thingsby mbardeenComment: Very pleasant and delightful sunset image. The reflection is so lovely, and the use of sillhouette effective. Your composition is also pleasing. It might be fun to experiment to see whether you could get any detail out of some of those shadows. Nice work. 8 |

Prowlin'by karmatComment: Very nice tiger image! The bamboo really helps, and your patience at waiting until the cat was behind one of them paid off nicely. I don't know if it was possible, but the zoo-structure of concrete/stone does ruin the illusion of wildness, though this is important only insomuch that you were aiming for that, if you were at all. Lovely tones, colors and focus. 8 |

The Ruinby e301Comment: Very interesting use of soft focus on the grass and in other areas. I like the effect very much. Your tones and colors are fabulous, too. The structures themselves may be slightly oversharpened and look like they have a few digital noise floating about, but the effect is minor and the print, I'm sure, will be fabulous. Very nice work! 8 |
