Peter well you and I boh went for the car marque idea and got 'punished' for it. I have to say I like the way you got the emblem so sharp but got the bokeh/blurred effect in the background. It worked for me.

Well you beat your prediction by a mile (and you are 100% right FS scores ARE a killer). A lovely shot of feline contentment, I was really struck by the darkness of the negative space and how this made the charcoal grey fur stand out. Super composition

I thought this picture was really underrated, I share your dilike of SP's (you better believe my teeth were gritted for mine) and the idea of focussing on the camera rather than yourself was (imo) great. To be fair I had though it was a little noisy, but far better than the score suggests

Christian, I have to say that for me this was perhaps the most underated photo in the challenge. Wonderfully creative and composed (as I mentioned in my earlier posting) and deserving of a far higher score

Oh my goodness Deb, much to my chagrin I did not recognise you!

I thought this was a lovely portrait, beautifully composed and I am quite pleased with myself that I got two of the meanings of the title without having to read your notes

I love the fact that this is a gentle photo in terms of contrast (which matches the gentlesness that can be seen in your eyes) without going over the top in terms of softness. A lovely portrait of the real you

Good to see you back in the challenges, although I have to confess that I did not recognise you...Time has obviously ravaged your once youthful countenance ;-)

I really like the light set up for this shot, I am a big fan of half face portraits although I always have to cheat and use the edge of the frame to achieve this. Really like the blackness of the black, and the sharpness of the shot

Nice shot of two nice carsgood composition and sharpness although I find the reflections on their bodies and windshields a little overpowering (although I appreciate that there is not too much that you could do to avoid this). Nice luse of the kerb to create a leading diagonal
