wonderful sharpness and translucence so you can actually see what looks like two raindrops on the inside of the petal on the top left

Day-26.jpgby KenComment: Have to say I dont normally like this sort of PP (Im not a great fan of digital art), but this is spectacular
The colour negative has produced a brilliant effect and the strength of the colours (which never appear harsh) are visually astounding
Good job |

day 28. 50 days square crop. damby rozComment: Beautiful
The blues and the greens have been processed so wonderfully and softly (without losing any of their vibrancy) that it feels like you are stepping into a dream or a fairytale
The abandooned surfboard (which looks a bit like a punt) adds a bit of a discordant or ominous air, its standing so still on the water you cant help wondering what has happened to the owners and whether this dream is going to change into something a lot more worrying |

Day 27 - Jiffy Lubeby BAMartinComment: Barbara, I have to confess that the title of the photo is making me giggle like an errant schoolboy...I love the fact that the UK and the US are in many ways divided my a common language
Given this is a family site there is no way I can tell you what Jiffy Lube is in the UK....snigger.

50Day27: Delivery Boyby citymarsComment: Wow I lkie the fact that there is so much going on in this shot (It would have made a great entry in streetscape challenge)
There is the obvious great splash of colour of the guy with the cactus t shirt on together with the chap on crutches as well as the general hubbub of life in a city. The thing that I finf myself drawn to is the woman in the black and white dress though who looks as if she may be about (in 5 steps time) just to walk into a wall
I guess the weird thing is that even on a city street how people like their own personal space and are keeping a distance from each other |

The Tent (Day 27)by karmatComment: I can totally relate to the idea of having a tent in the living room!!!
Kristi's expression as she looks at her brother is just a wonderful 'I love you' one

Day No. 27by GermaineComment: Simple but very effective, the vignetting meant it took a while for me to relaise that there was actually shoreline in the bottom left hand corner, but once you do see that there is a very nice diagonal leading line and you can feel the motion of a very very gentle lapping wave |

Day No. 28by GermaineComment: Gasp!!!
Beautiful soft muted yellows and the palm trees create a great leading diagonal line
Are there people camping on the beach? Is so what a great vista to wake up to
I love the fact that through the trees you can see a number of traffic lights at various stages of their sequence, which under pins that just a few yards away from this calm modern life exists |
